Nolan (nolanfitness.app) is a voice-first workout logger built and operated by an independent solo developer. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. We keep it minimal on purpose.
When you record a set, the audio clip is sent to OpenAI to transcribe your speech and turn it into structured workout data. The audio is used only to produce that transcription — it is not retained by Nolan after processing, and Nolan does not use your recordings to train any model. OpenAI processes the audio under its API data policies and does not use API inputs to train its models.
Your account and workout data are stored in Supabase (our hosted database and backend). Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your workout history is kept while your account is active so the app can show your progress. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing help@nolanfitness.app. We will delete it promptly.
Nolan is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
